My latest artwork inspired by one of the earliest intimate relationship and love story between Nut (goddess of the sky) and Geb (god of the earth) in Ancient Egypt.
 
The passionate lovers were born tightly gripped in each other’s arms. After constant love making Nut birthed 4 important and powerful children - Isis, Osiris, Nephthys and Set.Atum (the creator) wanted to seperate the lovers for eternity by their father Shu (god of air). 
To the ancient Egyptians this explained why the earth and sky were separated by the air we breathe.
